Overview

Children feel proud and confident when their families are involved in their learning and our kindergarten enjoys the support of our wonderful parent community.

Once our child starts at kindy you may like to

• Visit the kindergarten during your child’s kindy day — you’re always welcome! 

• Share your interests, skills, or cultural traditions with us. 

• Help behind the scenes — washing, preparing craft materials, shopping, making play-dough, or assisting with other small tasks. 

Or become involved in the management of the kindy

Our kindergarten is a community based preschool and we rely on active participation of families to provide the experiences that make NEK so special. 

• Consider joining our Parent Management Committee

• Get involved in organising our preschool disco, funday or storybook night for the children

• Support our working bees and other social events
